Most toy cars run out of road at the skirting board. This one keeps going, up the wall and across the ceiling, held in place by air suction that presses it against smooth surfaces while it drives. The first wall run reliably gets a reaction from everyone in the room, because a car cruising over the living room wall simply does not look possible. It is remote-controlled stunt driving with the boring rule of gravity switched off.
The controller adds a clever twist: point its LED light at any smooth surface within a 1-foot radius of the car and the car chases the beam wherever you steer it. Add 360 degree spins and you can string together stunts on the floor, up a window or overhead. Rain or shine, indoors or out, flat surfaces become racetracks, so play does not stop when the weather turns.
It comes in red, blue or grey, so siblings can tell their cars apart mid-race. As with any powered toy, adult supervision is recommended, and the set contains small parts that are a choking hazard for children under three. Keep sessions supervised and surfaces smooth, and the car will keep finding new racetracks in rooms you thought were finished.
