The Soccer Kick Trainer solves the problem of solo practice: the ball comes back. A waist belt and elasticated tether keep the ball attached, so every strike returns to your feet instead of ending forty metres away against a fence. That turns a half-hour session into hundreds of touches rather than dozens, which is where technique actually improves.
The height is adjustable to suit different players and drills, from young beginners working on basic control to older players drilling striking technique, first touch, juggling and passing accuracy. Durable stitching and a reinforced attachment point cope with repeated hard contact, and the whole thing packs into a bag to take to a park or a garden.
It works on grass, artificial turf and hard courts, and it needs no partner, net or wall. Check the tether and belt for wear before each session, and give yourself clear space so the returning ball has nowhere to hit anyone. Younger children should be supervised during use, and the trainer should not be used near roads, windows or traffic. It suits garden practice between training sessions particularly well, since the whole point is volume of touches rather than space. Store it dry after wet sessions so the belt and tether keep their strength over a full season.
